What is included in house help?
We happily provide many types of help around the house in addition to our companionship and caregiving services, and this is a very common way we help our seniors. Here are some examples of what we can do for you or your loved one:
Wash dishes
Do laundry
Change linens
Light housekeeping
Meal Preparation
Take out the trash
Help with technology (phones, computers, etc)
And many more!
What is not included in house help?
The easiest way to think about this is to remember that we are a companionship/caregiving service first and foremost. That absolutely includes help around the house, but it does not mean that we are a full housekeeping or maid service. A fitting phrase we use is ‘light housekeeping.’ Here are some tasks we do not provide:
Yard work
Ladder work
Outdoor work
Full house deep cleaning
Major pet cleanup
