Senior Citizen Man Smiling with a Cane

“It’s good to be seen!”

— Mr. Dudley Bumpass

This is the famous phrase our client, Mr. Bumpass, regularly says while smiling when his companion comes to visit him. It’s obvious the value of what his companion means to him.

Female Senior Companion Hugging Elderly Lady

What is the value of a trusted companion that brings a smile to your face? Priceless!

What if loneliness could be turned into joy? It can!

What if instead of worrying about mom and how she’s doing, you had peace and were in-the-know? You’d feel great!

We specialize in high character, good-hearted people who genuinely love seniors. The difference a quality companion can make in a senior’s life is amazing!

What tasks can a companion do?

There are countless benefits (too many to list) to having a senior companion. But in short, here’s a simplified, but not exhaustive list of common tasks our companions provide for our clients:

  • Transportation/Errands (in companion’s vehicle or client’s)

  • Wellness check-ups

  • Help around the house (light housekeeping, laundry, cooking, etc)

  • Ambulation Assistance

  • Meal Preparation

  • Quality Time and Conversation

  • Fun, Stimulating Activities

  • Technology Help (phones, computers, etc.)

What tasks does a companion not do?

Companion Care is for those who do not need any Personal Care, such as:

  • Bathing

  • Transferring from Wheelchair

  • Toileting/Incontinence Assistance

  • Grooming

  • Dressing

We do provide those services, but it would be considered Personal Care services instead of Companion Care.
